A Steady Business since 80’s
PT Sumiati Ekspor Internasional was established in 1985. Since then, we manufacture, trade, and sell Indonesian made giftware to many countries around the world. Our factory, office and showroom are located in Bali – Indonesia, with approximately 10 minutes only from the airport.
We offer a large selection of items in a wide variety of categories. Our product development team is always trying to develop new and exciting products continuously. We pride ourselves on being able to supply our customers with innovative and high quality products at competitive prices. We always believe in the ethical fair trading principal and do our best to follow it.

The History
From a hobby into a big business, Mrs. Hj. Sumiati started her journey in the late 70’s. She tried to expand her interests in pearl and necklace handicraft business that she learned in Madura – East Java and introduce them in Bali, which was started to get famous internationally during it’s first tourism-age. She started with a small shop at Pasar Seni Kuta with her own designed products.
With a bit of luck and less competitors during 80’s, the business grew bigger and she start a legal business under the name of CV Sumiati in August 6th, 1991. With a nice progress, the company went bigger and change the legal name into PT Sumiati Ekspor Internasional in February 1997. The company has been making products with 95% local materials and sell it around the world, mostly to United States, Canada, Europe, Thailand, and New Zealand.
Along with her brother, Mr. Saehol Arifin, Mrs. Hj. Sumiati tries to emphasize a good, healthy, and safe environment principle at the company. The company tries to implement the national’s work-standards, no illegal materials, no child labor, and implement international standard in health- safety workplace and also waste treatment. In addition, PT Sumiati Ekspor Internasional also has an annual social and community program to help orphanages, students, schools, and disaster victims in Indonesia.
